MR PETER WALLER - TASMANIAN STATE MANAGER
Peter has worked in the Labour Hire Industry for the past16 years with other National companies and previously owning Hi-Vis Labour Hire in Tasmania. Over the years Peter has serviced clients in the U.K, France, South Korea, & Japan supplying specialized welders from Tasmania for the European shipping Industry.
Prior to commencing with CWS Peter in his previous role as owner/operator of Hi-Vis Labour Hire was instrumental in relocating 30 Welders/Mechanical Fitters from Tasmania for a 12 month period to a Defence Force project in Elizabeth, South Australia, this involved arranging flights, accommodation, transportation & the day to day facilitation of the delivery of service to the client.
Prior to his career change to Labour Hire, Peter served 12 years with the Australian Regular Army whereby he contributes his knowledge of achieving the best from his employees and being able to source the best candidate for his clients. Peter continues to explore opportunities for CWS and is active with the day to day running of the Tasmanian branches.
Adam Newton - Business Development Manager
Whilst new to the Labour Hire industry Adam has most recently been employed as an Employment Service Officer with a Government Job Active agency. In this role Adam was very proactive in discussing recruitment needs with prospective employers, Adam has a sound knowledge with the recruitment process including , shortlisting suitable applicants and pre-screening all potential applicants in order to meet the requirements and needs of the clients request. Adams approach is to ensure the successful applicant becomes an asset to the client.
Adam has also successfully run his own business and has an excellent understanding of the importance of acquiring quality staff with a focus on ensuring the successful applicant is skilled in the tasks required.
Adam has also completed a Cert IV in Employment services and completed further educational courses in Mentoring applicants to achieve their desired outcomes.
